Bessey Ridge Wreath Company has a 15 year history of producing the finest fresh, fragrant Maine balsam fir wreaths and centerpieces to grace your home during the holiday season.
just called to thank us eloquently and effusively for the balsam center-piece you sent to her. "It is incredibly full, and so invitingly fresh that it smells like just-cut balsam! It gives me warm memories of my childhood in Vermont when we went to the woods to gather our own greens for Christmas. Nostalgia overcomes me each time I walk by it."
I've ordered her one from LL Bean for the last many years, but never got such an enthusiastic response. Thank you for helping me give a dear 90-year-old former Vermonter such a lovely gift.

All of the balsam fir, pine and cedar used in Bessey Ridge Wreaths is sustainably harvested in the evergreen forests of Downeast Maine. The greens or “tips” are pruned from the trees in a manner that enhances future growth. The harvest starts in early November as soon as frosty nights arrive and the needles are “set” on the branches.
Our wreaths and holiday centerpieces are handcrafted in the traditional method by our neighbors and friends. Busy fingers hand-tie the pieces and fashion cheery velvet and tartan ribbon into beautiful bows.
